Charlie Robinson
Charlie specialises in drawing and oil painting and has lived, studied and taught Art in several locations. He was raised in London and spent much of his childhood in West Sussex and Scotland. Having been an Art Scholar at school, Charlie went on to study at Leith School of Art in Edinburgh in 2006, followed by 4 years at the Florence Academy of Art where his passion for drawing and oil painting came alive. In addition to developing his drawing and painting techniques, Charlie became interested in creating still life and landscape paintings inspired by the local scenery and culture. He has since lived and worked in Hong Kong and China for five years, which has allowed him to discover and experiment with new ideas and subjects.
Charlie has undertaken several portrait, landscape and still life commissions and has exhibited widely in group exhibitions in the UK, Italy, the USA, Hong Kong and China. His works are in private collections around the world.
In his most recent exhibition at the Green and Stone Gallery in London Charlie showcased a variety of subjects inspired by his experiences in the places where he has lived, worked and travelled.
